Angels for Beginners by Richard Webster

I got a copy from Llewellyn Worldwide and NetGalley but all opinions are my own.

As a person who is obsessed about learning about the occult/spiritual world, I was always fascinated about Angels. The problem was I didn’t understand how to connect with them or their different roles in human lives.

Then this book came along. I was legit happy. It explained so much to me, Like the “hierarchy” of the angels and what they do and what they usually look like. Most importantly, how to connect to them in every way and to ask them for help to deliver your prayers to God.

Here’s a book description:

“Welcome angels into your life with Angels for Beginners. Discover how to communicate with guardian angels and archangels as well as angels of healing and abundance. Join world-renowned author Richard Webster as he explores how angels have helped people throughout history, and shares simple ways we can apply those lessons in our own lives.

You don’t have to follow any particular spiritual path to connect to your divine guides. This book shows how angels work for people of different faiths and backgrounds all around the world. Sometimes angels come into our lives in unexpected ways; Angels for Beginners shares the signs and symbols angels use so you won’t miss their life-changing messages.”

Webster writes in a simplified way, but it doesn’t skimp on the information. So it was really easy to understand and to take notes. I love this Llewellyn series, I hope they continue it.

5 out 5 stars!!!

Angels of Love by Grant and Melissa Virtue

I was given an ARC by NetGalley and Hay House UK in exchange for an honest review.

Real life married couple Grant and Melissa Virtue wrote a book about how to ask the angels to help us find our own perfect relationship.

“Finding a soul mate and life partner is only half the story. Once you actually have a wonderful relationship, it’s important to take definitive steps to keep it. Grant and Melissa Virtue, a husband-and-wife team, offer a variety of tools and techniques to create and maintain a healthy relationship: meditations, writing exercises, affirmations, prayers, and more. Readers will also learn how to call on the Angels of Love, a council of angels dedicated to helping soul-mate relationships. Practical advice will help readers understand how to recognize the right relationship, release the baggage from their past, attract love into their lives, and be present in a relationship.”

Okay, first of all this is like a workbook which I wasn’t prepared for, I just wanted to read and not go into my feelings. omg. But in all seriousness the book is great at what it’s suppose to do. If you’re in a relationship well this can help you both.

I’m not in a relationship and to be really honest, I didn’t want to do the exercises sometimes… Not because I didn’t like it, I was a bit scared that maybe there was something wrong with me and shit.

I’m fine, I survived. hahaha but it does work if you want to go on this spiritual love journey and it’s beginner friendly so that helps a lot.

4 out of 5 stars because it made me journal like crazy hahaha.
