Life Update

I know another Life Update??? I mean this is just routine at this point. I want to let you know why I write so sparsely. Writing for me is an escape, whenever I feel anxious I go into writing or reading books.

So here’s the update! I’m into sewing now! I’m gathering supplies so I can start embroidering. I want to make clothes, I have a few patterns, but I need some good cloth to use. Also, I’ve been obsessed with my PlayStation 4; I got it a few months ago and I’ve been using it every day. It’s unbelievable that someone can get so gaga over Resident Evil 5.

So there it goes, my life update.

The Little Big Book of White Spells by Ileana Abrev

I got a galley from NetGalley and Llewellyn Worldwide. My review is my own.

“The Little Big Book of White Spells combines Ileana Abrev’s four popular spell books in an attractive hardcover package. With more than 200 quick spells for love, money, protection, happiness, and more, this book is perfect for anyone who wants to improve the most cherished parts of life.

Create positive transformation in your relationships and a better world for your community with easy enchantments for finding love, removing a curse, bringing the passion back, banishing depression, making a business more profitable, and many more. Let Ileana’s charming writing style carry you to a magical place, where simple actions, creative rhymes, and sincere intentions will bring you your heart’s deepest desires.”

The Little Big Book of White Spells is true to its title. It has White magic spells for casting protection, healing certain sicknesses, attracting love, etc. Some of the spells comes from different types of Magick like, Candle magic, Crystal Magic, Herb Magic, Bath Magic and they are all infused with some Ritual magic as well.

What I love about this book is that it’s beginner friendly. Abrev’s writing is relatable to a point you think you’re actually learning from a teacher right in front of you. The spells are well written too. There’s no room for misinterpretation.

Also Abrev writes about the uses for the different kinds of magic, like crash courses. She excellently wrote about how to protect oneself from harmful/negative energy. She explains about the law of Karma, and how curses work and how sometimes curses are self-inflicted. I love how she discusses it in a way that’s easy to understand, but still appealing for advance witches.

Here’s my thing about the spells, some of them I could do and some of them might be too costly for me. I live in the Philippines and some of the herbs and crystals I would need for the spells are a bit hard to find, but they are doable.

If you’re interested in starting magic then you should have this book, as it does offer a lot of quick and easy spells to do.

4 out of 5 stars.
